Hiking in Grödig

You can also reach the top of the Untersberg via various marked hiking paths, such as the Dopplersteig, the Reitsteig, and by way of the ice caves. Especially beautiful are the paths along the Untersberg plateau. If you are not a seasoned hiker, the trails along the base of the Untersberg also offer relaxation and enjoyment. Our Information Office has hiking maps available for all routes.

Cycling

Discover the area on bike by taking advantage of our local bicycle rental. Cycling maps are also available at the Grödig Information Center.

Carriage Rides

For a special treat, try a romantic ride with our '"Grenzstüberl-Wirt" horse-drawn carriage. You can join in the weekly scheduled rides, or book your own private trip.

Golf

For golfers, Grödig is located right nearby a 9-hole course in the village of Rif. Other local courses can be found at Kleßheim Palace and in the village of Eugendorf.

Tennis

In neighboring Anif you will find extensive tennis facilities.

Just 10 km from Grödig is the "Watzmann-Therme" in Berchtesgaden, a modern swimming and spa complex with something for everyone.
